Yirchacheffe | Ethiopia | Limited Edition

from $14.50

A long-time Ethos family favorite is back! This light-roasted, Natural processed Heirloom showcases Ethiopia’s legendary terroir and bursts with floral aromatics and berry-forward complexity (we tasted strawberry, blueberry and a hint of peach), and citric sweetness. It is pleasantly bright, overly fragrant, and memorably delicate… a coffee that will make you fall in love with coffee all over again! Try it as a pour-over, hot or iced, or in French Press. Perfect for those moments when you’re looking to slow down and literally savor every moment!

GRIND GUIDE

Coarse | French Press, Cold Brew, Moka Pot (Percolator), Chemex (and any other slow-flowing Pour-Over methods)

Medium-fine | Drip (standard or programmable coffee makers), single-cup brewers (automatic or one-cup Pour-Over dripper), Aeropress.

We always recommend grinding your coffee fresh for the absolute best experience. Pre-grinding your coffee exposes more surface area to the air, which means faster aroma loss and faster de-gassing/staling. If you must buy ground, we highly recommend placing the whole bag (including packaging) inside an airtight container, and using/opening one bag at a time if possible.

WHY LOVE “YIRGACHEFFE”?
As the birthplace of coffee, Ethiopian small farmers truly have something unique to offer. This lot comes from the Abaya Main Station, in the Gelana Abaya area of Yirgacheffe, Ethiopia. The station sits at 1850–2000 masl and processes cherries from 452 contributing farmers. The area is known for its cool temperatures, abundant rainfall, and nutrient-rich soil—which happen to be ideal conditions for heirloom varieties!

Recommendations
We highly encourage you to try it as a pour-over, where we really believe it shines the most! Also excellent on French Press, iced brews, and cold brew. Challenging for Espresso.
